Only four COVID-19 outbreaks remain in effect in Niagara.
Public Health also reported seven new cases yesterday and a total of 85 active cases across the Region.
We have been seeing a downward trend in active cases this week; with 116 cases on Thanksgiving Monday, 99 on Tuesday and 87 on Wednesday.
Public Health says most of our active cases are currently in Thorold and none of them are in Wainfleet.
Five people are also being treated for COVID-19 in our local Niagara Health hospitals.
