There are now nearly 40 active cases of COVID-19 in Niagara.
Public Health reported a spike of 12 new cases yesterday including the first confirmed case at an elementary school.
There are 37 active cases in the Region, the highest number is in St. Catharines.
There are only three municipalities without cases, Pelham, Wainfleet and West Lincoln.
Just under 90 per cent of people with COVID-19 in the Region have recovered.
