They collected 51 units of blood, which is enough to fill almost five adults.
The Niagara IceDogs hosted a blood drive on Tuesday, at the St. Catharines Blood Donor Centre.
A total of 65 people showed up to donate, including 18 first time donors.
The centre usually sees about 35 to 45 donors on a weekday.
The drive was in honour of IceDogs goalie Tucker Tynan.
He was seriously injured on the ice during the December 12th game against the London Knights.
He had to go in for emergency surgery, and needed five units of blood.
