Niagara Public Health is confirming 27 new COVID-19 cases today.
The death toll remains at 405.
As of this morning, 40 people remain in local hospitals, with 21 in ICUs.
The region is also reporting less than 1,000 active cases, and 14 active outbreaks.
To date, over 261,000 Niagara residents have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
