Niagara Public Health is confirming 144 new cases of COVID-19 today.
The death toll remains unchanged, and 71 people are fighting the virus in local hospitals.
Variants have been detected in over 1,400 cases, and St. Catharines, Welland and Niagara Falls have the highest active case counts in Niagara.
