Police believe he is selling stolen trailers through Facebook Marketplace using an alias.
NIAGARA - An investigation is underway after two utility trailers were stolen from a business in Welland.
One of them was found in St. Catharines but the Niagara Regional Police Service (NRP) is still trying to find the second one. It's described as a black 2022 Norstar dump trailer with a decal that says "Plaza Tenders" on both sides.
The NRP is asking for the public's help tracking down their suspect, 35-year-old Jeremy Boyer. They believe he is selling utility trailers through Facebook Marketplace using the alias "Jeremy Troy."
Boyer is wanted for theft over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, operation of a conveyance while prohibited, failure to comply with a release order, and failure to comply with probation.
Anyone who recently purchased a trailer from the suspect, knows his whereabouts or has any other information that could help this investigation should reach out to Detective Sergeant Rick Weasner. Just call 905-688-4111 and use extension 1009215.
