A woman has been taken to hospital with life threatening injuries after a stabbing in St. Catharines.
Officers were called to a home yesterday in the area of Niagara Street and North Street.
A 59 year old woman was hit with a stick and stabbed twice after getting into a dispute with a 36 year old woman.
The victim was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries and is in stable condition.
The suspect, 36 year old Sheralee Bryant of St. Catharines, was arrested on assault charges.
