Niagara Region tells us this'll happen next week, noise by-law exemption granted to speed up work
The St. Paul Street West bridge will soon be history, and a new one to take its place.
The Niagara region says this is the next step in a multi-year plan to build a new bridge, and upgrades to the St. Catharines Train Station, also work on an access road from Ridley Road to the train station, and re-doing Ridley Road.
The existing bridge will come down next Monday to Wednesday, with CN train service suspended since the bridge crosses the tracks.
A noise by-law exemption has been granted by the city so the work can be done faster, during extended hours.
