Sabres roster will feature 23 players during Thursday night's home game.
The Buffalo Sabres have announced the names of the 23 players hitting the ice for the team's opening night.
Each one of the NHL's 32 teams were required to submit their final rosters to the league by 5:00 p.m. yesterday.
The team will have a lot of new faces this year, including new goalie Craig Anderson.
Returning players include defenseman Rasmus Dahlin and forwards Zemgus Girgensons and Anders Bjork.
Meanwhile, former captain Jack Eichel remains on the injured reserve list.
Thursday's opener will take place at the KeyBank Centre against the Montreal Canadiens, and a list of the players on the opening roster can be found here.
Tickets remain available for the game.
