Health Minister Christine Elliott says the province may reduce the length of time between COVID-19 vaccines
The province is expecting over 785,000 doses from Pfizer every week this month, increasing to over 938,000 doses in June.
Due to the additional supply, Health Minister Christine Elliott says the province may reduce the interval between shots, which is currently four months.
If that happens, Elliott says people will be contacted to arrange a new time for their second appointment.
For the next two weeks, the province is sending half of all doses to designated hot spot zones.
Last week, the province said it hopes that all adults in the province will be able to book a shot by the end of May.
