Police believe the recent playground fire at Jacob Beam Public School was caused by arson
Police continue to investigate an arson at a playground in Lincoln.
Between 10:00 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. on August 23rd, crews put out a fire at the Jacob Beam Public School playground.
Police believe the fire was deliberately started, but there aren't any suspect yet.
Damage is estimated at about $50,000.
Officers want to speak with two females in the area who are believed to be witnesses.
They were seen getting into a maroon coloured sedan, and are described as white and around 16 to 18 years old.
One of them was blond and was wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
Officers are also asking nearby residents to check their security footage, and ask their teenagers if they have seen anything about this on social media.
