Official release of stats set for June 1st
We will get a better idea of the mental toll the pandemic has taken on Niagara's youth on Tuesday when Pathstone Mental Health releases new stats on the increase in the number of clients as well as age groups of concern.
The agency says there has been a significant increase in its caseload through the pandemic.
Officials say major issues of concern for clients include lack of school structure online learning and lack of social connection.
As well, the agency now has a wait list for its program that addresses mild mental healh cases which it did not have pre-pandemic,
