88 year old man charged, sustained non-life threatening injuries in crash.
An 88 year old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following a collision in St. Catharines this morning.
Around 9:15 a.m., police were called to the area of Louth Street and St. Paul Street.
Detectives say a grey Toyota Corolla and a white Chevrolet Captiva both stopped at a southbound red light on Louth Street.
An 88 year old man was traveling southbound in a gray Pontiac Grand Prix when it collided with the Corolla.
As a result, the Toyota then collided with the Captiva.
The 88 year old man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and has been charged for following too closely.
