Detectives working on suspect descriptions
Niagara Regional Police are investigating a violent robbery in St. Catharines.
It happened on April 16th in the area of Ball Avenue East and Merritt Street.
Police say an adult male in the home was awoken by two unknown male suspects brandishing weapons.
The victim was assaulted and suffered minor injuries.
The suspects fled the scene with stolen cash and credit cards.
The identity of the suspects is currently unknown and detectives are working on suspect descriptions.
Anyone who may have information in the case is asked to contact police.
