Public health officials are reporting nine new COVID-19 infections in the region today.
The area's death toll is unchanged at 434 and there are 148 active cases.
Within Niagara Health, there are 14 patients battling COVID-19 and five are in the ICU.
Ten of the patients are unvaccinated.
Throughout Niagara, there are four active outbreaks.
More than 720,000 vaccinations have been administered in the region.
About 76.6 percent of local residents have at least one shot, and 72.7 percent have both.
