Niagara Parks is reminding visitors to be safe while enjoying trails during the warmer weather.
While the public is welcome to walk on marked trails, some cautionary measures need to be kept in mind.
You're advised to remain on marked trails at all times, and only hike during daytime hours, preferably with a friend.
Niagara Parks also recommends hikers come equipped with a cell phone, water, layered clothing and proper footwear.
You should also stay away from the water, as the swift current can be dangerous.
