Niagara Falls Launches Halloween House Decorating Contest

Now that Thanksgiving is over, it's time to break out those Halloween decorations!

Niagara Falls is going to honour some of the best decorated houses this year through the Spooky Awards.

There will be three categories; Best Effects, Judges' Favourite and People's Choice.

A panel of judges will select the winners for Best Effects and Judges' Favourite.

Residents will be able to determine the People's Choice winner through a vote on the city's website.

Homeowners have until 4:00 p.m. on October 26th to sign up.

The city will post a map with all of the participating homes on it's website on October 28th.
