New study suggests it may be

A survey by the online real estate brokerage firm, Zoocasa has found houses in the city are selling below asking.

Zoocasa surveyed cities across the province last month to determine where homes are selling above the posted price.

In Niagara Falls, Zoocasa found  the average list price was just over $737,000, and the average sold price was around $676,000, representing an approximate 8 percent difference.

The hottest housing market right now in the province is in Ottawa where houses are going for 27 percent over the asking price.
