UPDATE: The rain warning is finally over for the Niagara region.
Road conditions may still be dangerous while water drains off of the roads.
The Niagara region is still under a heavy rain warning.
Environment Canada is calling for 20 to 40 millimeters before this afternoon at which point it should slow down to a drizzle or wet flurries.
Due to snow build up and the frozen ground water could pool on roads making for dangerous driving conditions.
Environment Canada advises everyone to clear snow and ice off storm drains to allow for proper drainage.
