Police in Hamilton say four people are dead -- including two children -- following a Thursday night house fire in the city's Broughton East neighbourhood.
They say six people were found inside the house in the area of Upper Gage Avenue and Rymal Road East.
After transporting the victims to hospital two adults and two children were pronounced dead.
The two other adults are in stable condition.
There is no word yet on the cause of the fire, but officials say the Ontario Fire Marshal is investigating.
