Crews will get to work today, on a new residence building for Brock University.
An official ground breaking ceremony will be taking place at 10:00 a.m. in Parking Lot M, right by the Glenridge Ave entrance.
The $40-million building will be able to house 300 students, increasing Brock’s on-campus capacity to 2,800.
Residence 8 will also include a dining hall, 24/7 service desk and a hub for Conference and Events Services.
Construction should wrap up by summer 2021.
