Wayne Gates says the Ford Government needs to take urgent action to better protect workers.
The Niagara Falls MPP is calling for a Workplace Safety Readiness Committee, to make sure we have a safe transition back into a fully functioning economy.
It would include health care, safety, organized labour and industry professionals.
They would provide strong recommendations to the government, that could be immediately implemented.
Gates is the NDP’s Critic for Workplace Health and Safety.
