Local grocery stores and pharmacies will continue handing out free rapid tests until July 31.
The Ford Government is extending the free rapid antigen test program at select grocery stores and pharmacies until July 31st.
The program had previously been set to end next week. The free tests will also be available in schools and long term care homes.
The announcement comes as opposition leaders and health experts claim the Province is already in the 6th wave of COVID-19. They point to several indicators that the virus continues to spread, pointing specifically to waste water testing.
Today the Province reported 778 people in the hospital with COVID-19, which is down slightly from yesterday. 165 people are in the ICU currently with COVID-19.
You can find all of the locations giving out the free rapid tests online here.
