St. Catharines boy raising money for those in need
Every year for the past 4 years, a St. Catharines boy has used his birthday as a way to help raise awareness and donations for those less fortunate in our community.
Quinn Harley has been a Junior Ambassador with Community Care since he was six and has seen the affects of supporting the people who are in need and giving back to the community. When COVID struck and he heard about people losing their jobs and not having enough money to eat, he decided instead of gifts, he wanted people to donate to those who needed it the most. Fill the Bin For Quinn was born.
Four years running, this is a little fundraiser that could, raising much needed food, donations and this year money for Community Care. This food program helps provide families not only with non perishables but also fresh fruit and vegetables, meal kits, emergency supplies, hygiene and toiletry products as well as baby items such as diapers, food and formula.
Quinn's favourite saying is "Little by little a little becomes A LOT". Help him reach his goal of $500 by donating online at the link below or by dropping off your donations to Community Care in his name Fill The Bin For Quinn.
