Starting in April, fully vaccinated travellers will not have to test for COVID-19 upon entry into Canada.
Multiple media outlets are reporting the official announcement will come as early as tomorrow. This means that Ottawa will be dropping all testing requirements at the border for fully vaccinated travellers with two doses.
Right now, you must show proof of a negative antigen or molecular test to enter Canada. This has caused many travellers to have to isolate before returning home, if they test positive for COVID-19.
The Federal Government will still randomly test travellers when they arrive in Canada as they remain cautious of new variants entering the country.
