Fall foliage trackers up and running in NY and Ontario
We welcome the start of the fall season this afternoon and while it's a wet start, it also means we will soon be seeing some of the most spectacular colours nature has to offer.
For those of you on both sides of the border, who love to take a drive to view the fall foliage, there are two websites to help you pinpoint the best locations.
Ontario Parks has a fall foliage tracker that lets you know what regions are sporting the red, yellows and oranges of the season.

Across the border, the ILOVENY.com fall foliage map is showing some of the first fall colours of the season across parts of New York State.
Some vibrant colours are starting to emerge in the Catskills and Adirondacks as well as along the 1000 Islands Seaway which borders Ontario .
The website says there are also signs of the spectacular seasonal colors to come in a few parts of the Chautauqua-Allegheny and Central New York regions,
