Mayors of Wainfleet and Welland among torch bearers.
The Canada Games Torch will be making a couple more stops in Niagara this weekend!
On Saturday, a pep rally will take place at 9:00 a.m. at the Wainfleet Arena, followed by the running of the torch.
There will be six torchbearers, including Mayor Kevin Gibson.
Then on Sunday, the torch will be in Welland.
A pep rally will kickoff at 9:00 a.m. at Canadian Tire on Woodlawn Road.
This will be followed by the torch run, which finishes at Seaway Mall.
Welland Mayor Frank Campion will be one of the 13 torch bearers for the event.
The Canada Summer Games will take place in Niagara August 6th to the 21st.
