Brian Higgins says it's time for a plan
While Ontario’s premier wants further restrictions imposed on non essential travellers at the Canada U.S. border, a Buffalo congressman is pushing for an easing of the rules.
Representative Brian Higgins is now putting the pressure on the Department of Homeland Security to reopen our border bridges.
In a letter to the Secretary of Homeland Security Higgins asks for a new plan that allows for families to safely reunite, provides guidance to property owners, and prioritizes vaccines and testing for all Customs and Border Protection staff.
Higgins had previously called on Washington to fully reopen the border in time for the July 4th holiday weekend.
