Vance Badawey's office vandalized
Niagara Centre MP Vance Badawey tweeting out a picture of his constituency office with the front door smashed in.
The Liberal MP says he will "always work to do what’s right, to do my very best to carry out the responsibilities of a Member of Parliament. Today, my community office was vandalized, Unfortunate!"
The office was targeted the same day the Prime Minister announced he was enacting the Emergencies Act for the first time in history, in order to try and bring an end to the blockades in Ottawa and other parts of the country set up in an effort to convince all levels of government to end COVID related restrictions.
He is one of several local politicians who have been the target of vandals in the last few months.
St. Catharines Liberal MP Chris Bittle had his car defaced, St. Catharines Mayor Walter Sendzik and St. Catharines Councillor Karrie Porter both had their homes vandalized.
