Another person has died of COVID-19 in Niagara.
Public health says the area's death toll is now at 438, after the death of a person in the 60-79 age group.
Officials also report 44 new infections today.
Three COVID-19 patients remain within Niagara Health, and two are in the ICU.
At the moment, there are 200 active cases, with St. Catharines, Fort Erie and Niagara Falls having the highest active case counts.
There are also 12 active outbreaks in the region.
To date, more than 731,000 vaccinations have been administered.
About 77.2 percent of local residents have their first vaccination, and 74.1 percent are fully immunized.
