21-Year old stabbed after incident in Port Colborne
An 18-year old Port Colborne man is facing robbery and aggravated assault charges after a weekend assault in Port Colborne.
Police say they were called early Saturday morning to the Elm and Minto Street area, to find a 21-year old man suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was treated and released from hospital.
Police found a group of acquaintances were looking for a mutual friend, when a disagreement happened, resulting in the victim being stabbed. The suspect then took some personal items and fled, but he was arrested not long after, and police found the knife involved.
